Spider Ground is a modern sounding duet based on my Spider Chords harmonic language.

A ground is a composition built around a short, repeated, melodic segment that is usually in the bass. This repeated bass line is also called “basso ostinato“.

In this duet, I let the two trumpets take turns playing the bass part while alternatively exploring the harmonies based on the Spider Chord progression chosen for the composition.
